Stavanger is the fouth largest city in Norway (third if we
include Sandnes which is almost connected to Stavanger). It is
known as the Oil capital of Norway where all the major oil
companies have their main offices. The center of Stavanger is
located on a peninsula and on the both sides of Vågen
harbour. This is also where the cruise ships dock, so the most
important sights are located in walking distance from your
ship.
