The Nordkapp Plateau is the
northernmost point of both mainland
Norway and Europe. It is located at 71
degrees north in the Nordkapp
municipality. At the plateau you can
see the 307 m high cliff dive into the
Barents Sea. In addition to the viewing
plattform, Nordkapp has a visitors
center with both a restaurant and a
cafe, a souvenir shop, museum and
cinema and even a post office if you
want to send some postcards from a
cool address.
The cruiseport for Nordkapp is in the
center of Honningsvåg at Magerøya.
With its three quays and max 4 ships,
this is the largest cruiseport in the
northern parts of Norway, From the
port to the Nordkapp plateau is takes
about 40 minutes with car or bus
(about 34 km).
